ABOUT ME

Hi there! My name is Kayla Tobler, Owner of Welcoming Willow. I am the one who created the "I AM" as my first piece of art depicting Christ.

A little background on how the idea of the "I AM" came to me: In 2016, I was diagnosed with Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, POTS, SVT and other not so fun health issues. On top of that, I was in the beginning stages of a divorce, also having an almost 2 year old. To say my life was in complete shambles would be an understatement.

One night I had a dream. I saw a picture of Christ made up of many of His name that He is referred by in the scriptures. As I saw the specific names, I felt an immediate, personal connection to them and how HIs different names and attributes were playing an active role in my life; Comforter, Advocate, Heavenly Friend, Guardian, Deliverer, Brother, Judge -- to name a few. When I woke up, I knew I needed to study His names and create this artwork so I could continue to draw closer to Him as well as provide another resource for others to utilize in their personal studies.

I hope that each of the products on this website bring you and your loved ones closer to our Savior, Jesus Christ.
